Ficus Lyrata contains high levels of toxicity that can cause medical problems for cats and dogs that ingest it. In dry climates it requires a lot of humidity to avoid mealybugs

Care

Lots of indirect light is ideal to stimulate its growth.

Irrigation: This should be done only when the surface soil is dry, otherwise waterlogging can affect its roots.

Climate: Ficus Lyrata is sensitive to cold temperatures and drafts, therefore the temperature should not drop below 15 ºC
